Combining various structures and textures allows a new quality to materialize. Structure and texture is a formal element that I experimented with by applying subsequent layers. On the one hand, I realized a certain concept, and on the other hand, I let the materials live their own life, and let the coincidence speak. Combining different structures allows for the realization of a new quality that only needs to be tame in terms of painting and composition.

Painting is a challenge, it is becoming aware of what I see, think and feel. It is looking for a way to express my perception and portrayal of a reality that once impressed me… or what might impress me. Painting is a form, texture, structure, continuity and distinctiveness. All this can be shown in paintings, giving a space for all kinds of presentations.
